UTEP's lone CUSA loss was at home against Charlotte, the same Charlotte team that lost to LaTech by 20.

I'm not really certain what has transpired since then (other than the 3 dismissals), but UTEP has been on a tear, winning 5 prior to the Charlotte loss and another 5 since then.

UTEP can be exponentially tougher as they get rolling because they'll start pulling in 10K+ crowds regularly. If they are a top 3 seed going into the tourney, I imagine they will be veryvery hard to keep out of the final. There is probably a little orange koolaide in that statement, but definitely some truth.
