Not to sell UALR short, but it looks like they may've picked up some home cooked officiating as Yates, Haddock and Johnson collected more personals (5 each) than the whole UALR team (14), causing UALR to get to the line 20 more times...that said, if they get Moore to give them the floor game he did last night (5 assists, 1 t.o., 19 points) UALR is tough to beat.

Another balanced effort from WKU...they have 4 scorers then a bunch of nice role players. They have even less inside then us though, and I feel thats got to catch up to them at some point. Dykes for UNO is one of my favorite players in the Belt...he dropped 21 on 8-13 shooting and zero 3 point attempts. He really atacks the basket...Carlisle should hire him as an assistant coach just for Josh Howard.

USA really needed this win a few nights after getting blown out by Troy...at home. They're in the same boat as we are...a group of really talented players like Davis, Tilford, and Coleman...but without a true point guard to set up their offense.

ULM may have lost, but they're playing much better ball then when Tony Hooper was first kicked off the team...its become a much more balanced attack. Troy plays a myriad of guards around a seven footer...a seven footer who had 8 boards and 6 blocks last night...they like the three but don't seem to live and die by it as much this season.

Aspirilla is a beast for FIU...20 points on 8-10 shooting...if they get Hicks back for Thursday I am extremely worried by the possibility of a 7'0" 250lb Hicks and a 6'10" 260lb Aspirilla backing down George, Kedrick, Stew or Tramiel...all of whom give up at least 2-3 inches and 20-30lbs.
