Roman.

He stayed after it against maybe the best WR in the nation all night long and didn't give up. As with the rest of the team and coaching staff, I will give them time to get settled in and comfortable with the system. Roman will surprise a lot of you, and hopefully will be on here one day saying, "I told you so."

I say we hand out Roman wigs for the first game to all the students and nickname them "Roman's Rowdies" or something catchy.

I like the idea of the wigs, that'd be sweet! Roman was just outsized this game. I think he is still a great player. I was just like Steve Nash covering Shaq one on one. It just doesn't work. It doesn't make Nash a bad player, just to small to cover Shaq solo. I think Evyn will have a great game against SMU. Emmanuel Sanders (6'1" 170lbs) is good but he is no Malcolm Kelly (6'4" 217lbs).

I hope you're right. For now he sucks. I don't understand why we didn't change things up. Granted anyone else wouldn't have made much difference but at least we would have tried.
