No offers from Texas schools. Isn't this the type of kid you try to get and convert to DL? He is in a talent rich pool too. Mesquite Poteet and Mesquite ISD. All those guys are friends and know each other. This guy dominated both games I scouted and watched him do the same when he played The Colony.

I am not saying he is coming in and being a world beater, but with some technique I think you're looking at a double team eating machine.

  This. I wouldn’t have a problem with the portal if there was a one transfer limit. A highly recruited guy goes to P4, but doesn’t develop as expected…let him go to a G5. On the other hand, a guy doesn’t get recruited heavily out of high school, but develops after a couple of years at a G5…let him go to P4. I don’t like it, but I get it. On another note: I understand there are cases where it makes sense or is needed, but I’m generally against P4 to P4 transfers and G5 to G5 transfers.
