Apparently Belt Tried To Boost Middle Tennessee's Exit Fee

Link to thread on the CUSA board has an open letter from the Middle Tennessee AD indicating the Belt had called a meeting to raise exit fees to 5 to 10 Million. (scroll down on 1st page for letter)

Did I miss something where they got an invite to CUSA?

I'll state the obvious here but if more Belt teams join the CUSA it doesn't help the prestige of the conference and I get less and less excited about our new home.

I'm okay with MUTS, but I'd just as soon have left the two F_U's in the Belt.

It's expensive for the Flagship program to leave the conference. Karl Benson was talking about MUTS at halftime when we played there this season like they were going to be the next Boise and they were going to make the Belt a major conference.

You can't blame Karl for being upset that the MUTS are leaving. They were his fallback obsession. Now he has to fall in love with Texas State all over again.
