This only makes sense if UTA is looking to add football.

Some of us on this board were at the inaugural game at UTA's Maverick Stadium; and then there are some on this board who were at Lincoln's inauguration, too.

I think UTA will (reluctantly) add football.

I was at the opening of Maveric stadium.

I was a the last UTA game too.

They had a very good team...Then they had no team at all.

I was at both games also, and because of the apparent suddenness of their ending of football, only a year or so after they build a new stadium, has always made me wonder what was going on. Their hc football coach Chuck Curtis didn't have the best of reputations and it was very odd that the program was shut down when they seems to be gaining some momentum.

I don't seem them adding football back anytime soon. And in the Belt they don't have to as the balance out UALR. I think their new basketball arena will help them as much as our stadium helps us. Texas Hall was the only venue worse than Fouts!

I think UTA basically replaces Denver. Closer though!
