Off the first tee in sudden death, Tiger hit a beautiful long shot down the right side of the fairway. Rocco hit into a terrible lie in the left bunker.

Rocco's second shot went almost into the grandstand. Tiger's on in 2.

Tiger should have this wrapped up.

Poor Rocco. I wish he could have put his name on that trophy. A forty-five year old (would have been the oldest Open champion) that hasn't had a win in 7 years. For him to have the guts to go one on one with Tiger for eighteen holes and still come away even..... on that course..... to me thats deserves some kind of recognition. The guy actually had to win a playoff just to qualify to play in the Open. I hope he hangs around and cashes in on this momentum for a bit.

My hat goes off to Rocco.

It's too bad Mediate has suffered from back problems for years. He could have had an even better career. And, just a small correction, he "had the guts" to go one on one with Tiger for 90 holes! Great tournament.
