Riley Dodge - Athlete Of The Year

There were some really good video clips of Riley running for TD's, as well as firing the ball downfield. It's easy to be mislead by his size, but Riley has above-average arm strength and really throws a good deep ball. I wonder how many other schools have this question to consider?... "Do we start a State Champion who has already broken most North Texas passing records?, OR... do you play a Three-time State Champ and Ahtlete of the Year?"

Those videos wont help put that discussion to rest anytime soon??? Good stuff!!!

GMG!!!

Do we start a guy who has a year of D-1 football under his belt and has adjusted to the "speed of the game" and has added strength and size over the last year? Or do we start a guy who is rehabing his throwing shoulder? Seems obvious to me. Hello Nathan Tune.

Congratulations to Riley Dodge! North Texas fans certainly have to be excited about him coming up to Denton to be a key component to making this football program something special.

A side note: isn't it interesting that we have a former SLC QB on staff as a GA who's dad HalWasson is the coach at SLC, and now we have Riley and everyone knows the rest?

Yeah...it means we continue to land more and more SLC players for years to come. Can you say hello little Padron.
