The kid that did the article just graduated for KState last year...he did a pretty good job, though he left out some of the people I wanted to thank for their success such has their coaches when they were in the youth League and especialy their Grand parents and my Brother and his wife that have always been there when we need help with a ride or money or whatever they needed.

MGP, we are looking for Charley (and hopefully his brother) smile.gif to being most integral components of this football program's turnaround from the brief detour we had this Fall.

Best I can project with all this, all those recruits who sign with NORTH TEXAS this February and RS next Fall; anyway, all of that RS class will get to play 2 seasons in NT's new football stadium at Eagle Point Campus at least according to the announcement a few days ago of a 2009 stadium premier AND that announcement coming from our Mean Green official athletic website. cool.gif

This new football stadium opening will be at the very top of the list as one of our school's most shining moments for all of us who have ever been associated with the University of North Texas.

Sounds like a great future to me smile.gif ..something for everyone to be poud of and look foward to...All the DD haters out there need to realize that he helped get NT to this point...

As I was reading the article I couldn't find Brent's height?  How tall is he to go along with the 4.4 speed and 195lb frame?

6'2" and the doc said he's still growing....today 11-11 is his birthday...the big 18...old enough to go to war but not old enough to drink beer lmao laugh.gif

I'de like the image removed.

The only person I am planning to sue is Stan R, since his signature caused me pain and suffering by forcing me to think about the Matt Simon days.

Once the judge sees the 95, 96, and 97 NT-Reno game tapes (average score: 54 - 14 ) I am sure I can get a million dollars, easy.

      Unfortunately this comment by the head coach at UNT is going to appear defeatist and will do nothing to motivate students, fans or players. Wish it had been some other school’s head coach. Awful publicity for UNT.

      Morris didn't say anything that most of us haven't already said or felt. Quite frankly, what he said has been true for a lot longer than many of us want to admit. Our lack of commitment to athletics (whether you want to blame it on administration, students, alumni, or realistically all of the above) has set us back and has been an issue for years. It still hasn't changed, and it's going to continue to come back to bite us for years to come. There has to be a clear divide at some point, even though I would argue there's been a fuzzy divide for a long time. It's just a matter of time at this point that it becomes crystal clear. We are not going to be in the top tier of that divide. Our stakeholders (I use this broadly and there are clear exceptions) have made that choice over however many years now. It's just going to finally come to a head.

      If the basis for this is simply "not Power conference", then sure. The scholarship allotments suggest difference is level of play, though. I know NIL has negated a lot of that at the current P5/G5 level, but I would think that once you get past a certain point, outside the bubble of the P4, the impact of NIL could be watered down and you will still see scholarship limits play into the level of competition in front of you.

      Softball Tournament Bracket

      After UAB swept us in the regular season, then proceeded to win more games we needed them to lose, and lose games we needed them to win, it's nice for ECU to put an end to their season. Hopefully we can win our fourth straight against the Pirates tomorrow.

      If her team doesn't win, her market value and name recognition will quickly decline. The team as a whole and coach make the value.
