TUCSON, Ariz. - A freshman defensive lineman has been indefinitely suspended from the Arizona team after his second arrest on marijuana possession charges.

Yaniv Barnett, 18, did not attend Wednesday's practice and is suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, said coach Mike Stoops.

He was arrested Monday with three other students by university police on suspicion of marijuana possession outside Arizona Stadium, according to a police report.

Sgt. Eugene Mejia, a university police spokesman, said Monday's arrest was Barnett's second on marijuana possession since September, but he had no further details on the first incident.

Barnett, of Cibolo, Texas, had four tackles in three games so far this season at defensive tackle for the Wildcats.
