6'2 WR/TE out of Kingwood makes his commitment to North Texas.  He is North Texas 7th commit for the '24 class. This may be the steal of the class so far. I think he is under recruited due to being a little undersized at 6'2. But Tyler can flat out play.

I just watched his junior season highlights. Big bodied WR that isn't afraid of contact. He has speed as well. I see he ran a 4.53 and a 4.47 40 yard dash at our camp. It seems they line up in trips or 5 wide a lot. He made a lot of people miss on the screens they threw to him. Washington St ran a lot of WR screens under Morris, so this seems like a natural fit. He also got open on wheel routes as well. I'm interested to see if he plays TE or WR for us. Welcome aboard!
