Do we need a new pair of eyes in the AD position?

I like what I am hearing about Mosley.  But isn't he just Wren Baker 2.0?  Not to say Wren didn't do a good job here and all because he most certainly did.  All I am saying is it wouldn't hurt to have a new pair of eyes looking at our situation and opportunities.  If Wren couldn't crack the donor puzzle why would his shadow?

Wren couldn't crack the donor puzzle?  Isn't that what he's known for?

I don't want a Wren clone.  Can Mosley be his own guy?  Does he have his own vision to see beyond Wren's plan?   We are kind of under the gun, trying to hire an AD and HC asap.  Mosley may get the job simply by default of the situation.  Good thing is he knows the internal Master Plan and people.  But can he make changes and replace people that need to be gone to make us even better?

Why do people assume that just cause the guy is 2nd in command and good at that role, that he’d be a carbon copy of the previous guy? How many jobs have you had where you were great in your role, supported a direct supervisor, & aspired to one day have that role (or one like it), so that you could enact your vision and make it your own?
