Did our band wear uniforms?

If by uniform you mean caps, green shirts, khaki shorts, and black socks, then hells yes!  Note, it wasn't the full Green Brigade.  They were introduced as the North Texas Pep Band.

And for those wondering about the antics of the MOB (Marching Owl Band), they were relatively tame for them.  Their entire half time performance was themed to alcohol and drinking.  (You'd have loved it, @THOR.)  They stood in the formation of a giant mug of beer at one point.  The announcer walked through the history of alcohol service at Rice Stadium.  Then, in their gratuitous slam against the opposing team, their announcer said something along the lines of "We heard that even UNT recently started allowing beer sales at their stadium.  With only 6 wins since 2014, we're surprised it took them so long."

Our crowd was definitely louder and really into the game. Even when we were down by 17. The Rice crowd was a not a factor as they were spread out all over the stadium.

Talked to several of the coaches and players before they loaded the buses to airport. Coach Littrell graciously stopped and posed for pictures with some of the fans.  Everyone was so pumped! Great energy and optimism.

Video of the post game locker room celebration is fun to watch. I found it on some of the players social media. Based on snapchat, the celebration continued on the flight back to Dallas. Good to see the guys having fun.

Hope to see a big crowd Saturday. Gotta keep the momentum going. GMG!
