SEC, NCAA Sued Over Concussions

Recommended Posts

I could understand the argument if these young men were not aware of the potential health hazards from playing football, but they were.  Trying to blame the SEC and the NCAA for withholding information you basically already knew is wrong.  You knew the dangers when you signed up.

I doubt he knew about CTE when he 'signed up'.   But I also doubt the SEC/NCAA fully understood, and were witholding information from any player either.

This is all very recent, and still being studied.  I doubt any lawsuit like this wins any time soon.

Like cigarettes? didn't know how bad because information was withheld or facts deleted. From a safety point if you put people in harms way without a signed release you have liability issue.
