So our next AD should be a travel agent...got it. Never mind the poor scheduling, poor hires and bad promotions, WE HAVE A SPOT ON THE RIVERWALK FOLKS!!3 points

Funny, North Texas and my grandfather Fritz almost worked out some kind of claw/caw relationship back when my dad and uncle were playing ball. Would've been pretty neat had it panned out anyways. My dad loved playing for Coach Fry. He did some big things during his time as coach. Had the privilege of meeting him a few times myself. Anyway, just a big fan of the football program and coach Mac. Looking forward to this upcoming season! Thanks again for the warm welcome, guys. GMG!3 points

Welcome aboard. Grandpa Fritz would come through the drive through at chick quick on Eagle drive and order with the "Iron Claw". It never got old. He would even say "Do you know who I am?".3 points

He at least saw the field as a RS soph. I'm for this add2 points

To be fair, I do think that there is somewhat of an all or nothing mentality on both sides of that coin.2 points

In short, he's going to be an outside receiver (as opposed to a slot receiver). On our post-spring 2-deep depth chart, our starting outside receivers were 6'3" Senior Darius Terrell and 6' Sophomore Darvin Kidsy, backed up by two former walkons in 5'10" Senior Carl Caldwell and 5'11" Senior John Chelf. Nothing against those guys, but I expect Tee to come in and pass those guys up, pushing Kidsy and Terrell. Here are those guys career receiving stats. These guys are not much more proven on this level than Tee. Darvin Kidsy: 16 catches - 151 yards - 0 TDs Darius Terrell: 7 catches - 76 yards - 1 TD Carl Caldwell: 3 catches - 17 yards - 0 TDs John Chelf: 0 catches In high school Tee lined up a lot in the slot and he was usually on the far side of the field. This was to get the ball out to him quick and let him make plays. I could see him being the outside receiver on the short side of the field down the line, but I think we'll see him a lot on the far side of the field this season, on the outside. He's too talented to keep off the field IMO.2 points

I'll answer this one. My guess is at or about 2 yards off of the line of scrimmage.2 points

Yeah not that I'm an athlete but I didn't get to 170 until I was 21 and me and Tee are the same height. Mine was beer weight but I'm sure his will be from lifting actual weights.2 points

Hope he doesn't suffer the same fate as Jamario Thomas did when he put on weight, or this weight is the result of being inactive after knee surgery. 230 seems to heavy for his height. Ellard has dropped a lot of weight.2 points

Thank you GRANT UNT. Here's a guy (lady) that just did it. Joined the Mean Green Club and bought season tickets. Just did it. We've got plenty of observers that watch from the sidelines. We need fans that will step up and buy season tickets and join the Mean Green Club. If one is looking for an excuse, there are a million of them. Pick one. But what North Texas needs is that person to simply say, "I'm in." So stop with the petty excuses. But season tickets and if one of the games is impossible to go to, give the ticket to a neighbor, and friend or a co-worker. But please stop with the reasons why not to support the Mean Green. We don't need billboards or e-mails or events. What we need is people willing to put their money where their mouth is. Beat Texsa GO MEAN GREEN2 points

All or nothing for you, eh? Could it be that perhaps the AD does some things well while failing miserably at others? Nah. Wouldn't fit your narrative.1 point

All I'm gonna say is that this further supports my constant feelings that I'm in one of those old Sesame Street segments. One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong.1 point

I dont know if its the official team or fan hotel, but the Grand Hyatt is the newest and nicest hotel in downtown SA. Its also the closest to the Alamodome and adjacent to the convention center where the Riverwalk begins Right now you can book it for $119 a night for that Fri and Sat on Hotels.com1 point

Lol. Yeah, the thing about Tee is that he's coming from a school in Carthage that was great at football, but being a 3A program I can guarantee he didn't have the weight program that some of these 5A kids had. Plus he played basketball, baseball, and ran track so he wasn't like some of these other kids who were football year round. It's hard to bulk up when you're doing the extreme amounts of cardio that basketball, track, and even baseball require. He'll put on enough good weight naturally, but like GMG24 said, his job is to get open and make plays. He's already pretty good at that.1 point

I will be calling Monday to confirm 2 season tickets. I think I may have convinced a buddy of mine sitting on the fence to get 2 for him and his wife as well. I think the attendance record will be broke again this year. Nichols games might hold us back but with another Thursday night home game mixed in with SMU, homecoming, and Southern Miss I can see us breaking the attendance record for the second straight year and that's a positive direction.1 point

Why is that? Is there a law against that? Not that I'm about to pony up funds for a billboard, but I'm genuinely curious why I wouldn't be able to use private funds and endorse a product at will, so long as I didn't make claims such as UNT Football cures cancer and protects hookers from Craig James.1 point
