2025 Commit--Albert Simon, LB, Nederland
Mean Green 93-98 replied to SUMG's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Our last recruit out of Nederland that I can remember is Micah Mosely. -
Wonder how much wider they'll have to make seats in 2050? At our pace, can you imagine 2100? DATCU might have a 20k capacity then. But don't worry, there are sports and an election year to distract us from the poisonous food they overcharge us.

I got the same seats as I had. The change is due to permanent seats being installed in the middle sections and because they are a couple inches wider they are having to move some people out of their seats.

I was moved…one seat over

I renewed before the April 26th deadline for reserving my previous seats. No problem.

When Mizzou was first indicating they were leaving the B12, it was under the belief that they would get a Big 10 invite along with Nebraska. The Big 10 told them no. It's been a few years, but I imagine Mizzou still feels a little jilted about that situation. And I don't know that enough has changed for the Big 10 to consider Mizzou now when they told them no previously.

Kansas football doesn't move the needle for anybody, especially media. It would be just another Vanderbilt or Northwestern.
-
Do you really want the goal to be join Lamar, Tarleton State, UTA, SFA, and Abilene Christian, et al? That would be a worse drop than when we lost 20 years worth of fans and history in 1-AA. It's great for those programs, but we are well beyond that level.
-
Was the change mainly due to less seats in the section with the change to individual seatbacks?

Group of Five Coaches Ranked - CBS Sports
NT80 replied to Mean Green 93-98's topic in Mean Green Football
This is just another attempt to segregate out G5 programs away from FBS and P4's. Same as before the Division l split into 1-A and 1-AA. Give them their own rankings and they will be fine....- 1 reply

I was contacted today. Not happy with being moved out of my seats. I am somewhat close but it is total BS. Season ticket holder in Football since Fouts.

Has anyone received a call yet about their new seats? Were you able to be close to your original spot? I got an email today that I’ll be receiving a call tomorrow. I'm just not sure what to expect.
-
Still took an L, though.

Unless he was told he no longer had a spot at Tulsa. I think it's been said before but aren't scholarships on a yearly basis now?

58 yards of that was against us lol

2 reasons why I said this. 1. He didn't have the same graphic as the other commits. 2. I saw his stats and figured that was the case. 100 yards receiving and 1 TD. Sadly, most of his stats were against our defense. Anyways, happy to have him on board, and I hope he does well here.

Everyone scored against us last year.

Oxymoron?
-
I doubt a young man is transferring from Tulsa where he was on scholarship, to UNT as a PWO.
-
Just need to launch "NCAAF collective manager simulator 2025" instead. Who cares how your rent-a-team did as long as you can buy a new one next season. The Sims of college football. I'm patenting that. It was my idea first.
