We are ranked 79 now. Other opponents with ranking and (predicted) outcome:

MTS 83 (L) Close game but we are notorious for alternating wins and losses. 24-21 MTS

LA Tech 105 (W)

SoMiss 119 (W) I predict this to be our first time to have 2 wins in a row, this year

Rice 77 (L) Close game at home, first one to 40 wins.

UTEP 111 (W) This will be our next home win

UTSA 80 (W) Close game and back to back home wins with CUSA west on the line

Tulsa 76 (L) A close game in Tulsa, we lose by a touchdown or less.

I think we are looking at a 7-5 season, maybe even 8-4 with a win over MTS, Mac stays, and we go bowling. This is a much better team than last year.

College Football Poll has North Texas at #78. This site has predicted 46 of 50 CUSA games correctly and is very accurate on predicting North Texas. Has the Mean Green with a 9-3 season.

At this point I think we are 8&4 at best,6&6 at worst. I have Rice and Tulsa as losses, and we probably will loose one on the road that we are favored to win. MTSU is a big game. If we win it, then I think we are good to go if we don't have key injuries.

Whew! 9-3 would be really amazing, hell, we could go 10-2, but the season is hell on the players. It's exciting to be relevant in CUSA!

Oh, and by the way, CUSA nation, CUSA has jumped the sunbelt in the poll to be 9 of 10 and not dead last.....yeah! we are better than the sunbelt...this week.
