I can't believe I'm going to miss the opening game but I'll be out of town.

No work. Its a vacation. Labor Day weekend is an annual trip for us. (Since we're usually on the road to open the season, some of those trips have even included away games in the past) We had a baby in Feb so this is the first trip with just us.....

I just hope there's an online option......

I may be cranky if I can't watch.

I'm really not surprised --- why make it easy for people to sit on the couch for this game?

There will be a lot of people in the DFW area or the TCU LSU game later that night so having our game on in the bars before and TV sets for all the area HS kids is a recruiting factor.

Overuse of the exclamation mark. It's just a valid point. And it is quite valid. I've watched a number of games at a bar just b/c it was on the screen. I'd definitely watch SMU just to root against them, before I head to Apogee. If that gets people to watch The Mean Green, it builds a rivalry. On second thought Harry, good use of the exclamation mark.
