Seems like our line signee Cody Nelson was a little under the radar but might be a surprise. I saw him at a scrimmage and was impressed with his frame. Will be interesting to see how he fares against a lot of competition in the Fall.

      McNeese road trip?

      Is anyone planning - or thinking about - a road trip to Lake Charles? I realized today I'll be there Monday the 18th - making a casino trip Sunday thru Tuesday for my wife's birthday, so why not go?! I checked out the McNeese web site - tickets are only $10 or $15, and parking is free.       DRC: UNT hires new volleyball coach

      Does anyone know how many years Porter was signed for? Nearing the end of Year 3, the team had a tough nonconference schedule but started AAC play 3-0 only to have a mega collapse, losing their eighth of ten tonight against FAU to fall to 8-16, 5-8.I have not heard of any major injuries.

      Bye week bad?

      Interesting bit of information from the Cal/WF game. The WF coach did a study going back 20 years and the team coming off a bye week was at a disadvantage in the game following the bye week. Due to getting out of a routine…at least that’s the thought as to why.

      Army Cadets?

      I'm guessing that the reason the wing has no seats available might be that it will be filled with Army troops.
