This one is on you, Coach Mac

I don't claim to know anything about recruiting, FBS coaching, play-calling, etc., but I do know, if you don't attempt to move the ball downfield and score points, you cannot win. There is risk in doing this, even for Oregon, K-State, Notre Dame. Sure, you might turn the ball over, but you've got to at least try. I cannot fathom why any coach, whether it's the OC or HC, would not be trying to move the ball, regardless of what personnel they have to work with. If DT isn't seeing the open receiver, they need to keep calling passing plays until he sees them.

What's the worst that could happen...we finish with a losing record again?

I'll take this to the opposite spectrum. Attitudes like this keep people like Dodge here for 4 years. There is not enough accountability here at North Texas.

As far as I'm concerned, RV's seat is warm too especially with the way basketball is going.

Finally - someone who see this clearly - best post yet - keep it up - you are on the right track!!!
