Funny thing is that the example they use regards Pitt Bulls....Hmmmmmmmmmm

Premise of the study is the question why we are so nasty to each other online...actually mentions "hiding behind a fake screen name....

Says we tend to dehumanize each other online because it's harder to focus on what we have in common".

Hmmmmm...sound anything like what goes on here and on some other message board focused on Mean green athletics? Suggest we all get a copy and read this article. Might see a tad bit of ourselves in it's words.

Thought it was really interesting and pretty darn central to many of the "spats" folks seem to have on-line here on GMG.Com. Even talks about folks losing friends over such nonsense. That isn't so funny.

Worth a read and worth some thought and consideration.
