I agree with you on that route. Garnett would be the dream acquisition, and that's exactly what it is...a dream. By the way...I would love to stick my foot in my mouth over all of this!

I've said for awhile now that Dallas is Sacramento-lite. Of course the Kings were where Dallas is now a few seasons ago. I don't think Cuban needs to change too much.

Jordan was fired from the Wizards today. He is now saying something to the effect that he didn't want to retire from playing but management asked him to stop playig so that he could concentrate on personnel more. Then they go and fire him. So here is a very crazy question, would the Mavs get over the hump by having Jordan come in for one or two years to play small forward? About the only thing I would be worried about would be the chemistry being disrupted; but it is at least something to think about.

That reminds me of what Captain Obvious asked Greg Ostertag a few years ago:

CO: "Do you think your team would be better or worse with Michael Jordan?"

Ostertag: Thinking...."Yeah I think so"

I don't think it's likely either. Would be awesome though.

Paul Silas was on PTI today and will be spending the next several days with Don Nelson and the Mavs...is Nellie looking for next year's coach?

I think Silas is a pretty good coach. He got a raw deal in New orleans IMHO. I guess it's possible Cuban may woo him, we'll see.
