He was a stud out of high school, went to the University of Arkansas than went to USC. He is from Arkansas, but thats not too far.

Looking at their roster, there's only one Dallas native.

ESPN says the title would be vacant. The BCS rules are that #1 and #2 play, and the winner of the game is awarded the title.

Incidentally, Auburn finished AP #2 so I wonder if THEY will name Auburn the new AP champion.

USC still the AP 2004 National Champions. So I guess considering they also won the 2003 AP title, they still are back to back champs and can wear their T-shirts that say so.
