Unt Can Beat Rice

There are a number of reasons here. First of all is the so called home field advantage, as you will see today, Rice draws terrible. Second, NT has had 2 weeks to rest, and prepare for Rice. Third, let's look at the Rice schedule.

SMU---CUSA game

Memphis---CUSA road game

Vanderbilt---SEC road game

Texas---Big 12 road game

UNT---0-3 SBC team

Then back into CUSA play, against their most hated rival Tulsa.

Mentally, put yourself into the minds of the Rice players, and go through that schedule. There is very little chance, that we get their best shot today. And Todd will have us ready to play as well!

We have a great opportunuty to get a win today!

I don't know about Tulsa being their most hated rival when they have SMU, Tulane and Houston but your point is well taken. Tulsa is leading CUSA, Rice hasn't lost a conference game yet, and they can't afford to pull out the stops with their biggest game coming up next.

If we had ever put it together, for even a half, then I'd agree that we have a great chance. Maybe this is the game where things do start coming together. Let us hope.
