I'm trying to gather things for a future game room featuring all my NT stuff I have collected. looking for a couple things, please PM if you can help on any of this, it would be greatly appreciated!

first, does anyone know where I could find one of the "flying worm"(light green, 70s early 80s) mini helmets? Ive found a lot of throwbacks, but can't seem to find that one.

second, I would love to get a full-sized color copy of the front page of whatever newspaper ran a big story about our win over Cincy in the 02 bowl. I would be willing to pay whatever costs incurred for making the copy, shipping, and of course your time. At some point Id like to get it framed with a few other notable stories I've hung on to.

I am looking for the flying worm mini helmet too. eBay may be your best option.

Speaking from experience, there's a website out there that lists all of North Texas's helmets, from inception to present. Find the Flying Worm helmet, note the years used, then search eBay for "North Texas Mini Helmets." When looking through the surprisingly large list of helmets, make sure to choose one that exactly fits the years of the Flying Worm. Even then, it's not a guaranteed that you'll get the right one. <_<

I've been checking eBay periodically, in fact I purchased 2 of the ones I have from vendors on there, but I have yet to find any of the light green "flying worm" minis worn ~73-82.

Just peel off the O for Oregon and attach whatever logo you choose for NT.
