Question about NT vs. UT Tickets

I just got off the phone with the ticket office and they missed the mail out date on my tickets (8/21) and I am suppose to pick them up at Will Call, basically they forgot about my purchase! What the F***? They didn't even notify me that they didn't mail them, what happens if I don't call? This year is my first experience with the ticket office and it's not starting off on a good foot. mad.gif

So, if you have not received your NT vs. UT tickets yet, you might want to give the ticket office a call.

They dusted them off and are putting them at will call. AKA -- have fun waiting in line at will call while everyone else is drinking a beer.

Will call always makes me nervous. I would rather have tickets in hand... especially since I don't have a receipt for the transaction or anything. I tell them to bill me and they do.

I bought 10 tickets, so it isn't chump change.

Maybe since I bought 10 tickets they think I am trying to resell them and this will put a hitch in my plans? I am a multiple year MGC member... I hope they don't think that is the case. There really are 10 of my group going.

Chad , if it were me, I'd drive to the ticket office before Friday and get my 10 tickets. Waiting in the "will call" line down at UT would not be a fun experience.

This is absolutely inexcusable. I hope you and JD take your complaints up with the AD.

I get the impression that the ticket office doesn't have the tickets. When I called yesterday, the man that answered was in Denton, but then I was transferred and by the way the man I was transferred to was talking it sounded like he was with the UT ticket office. He said things like "here at the South End Zone". So, I don't think you can pick them up in Denton.

I'm pissed!

In the past, they sent their un-sold allotment of tickets back on Thursday. All of the sold tickets they took with them.

      SB at Charlotte (5/3-5/24)

      It all comes down to this. The softball ladies are a game behind FAU and Charlotte for first place in the conference. The Mean Green already own the tiebreaker 2-1 with FAU, so winning two of three in Charlotte this weekend would also be huge in that it would give the ladies the tiebreaker over both teams in case there is a three-way tie at 19-8. The biggest reason to try to take two of three in Charlotte is that second and third place in the conference is the difference between having to win just two games in two days to make it to the NCAA Tournament, or four games in four days. We can't finish lower than third. Fourth place Tulsa is 3 games behind UNT, and we swept them earlier in the year. Tulsa plays at FAU this weekend. Charlotte will be a tough out. Last year by way of playing one fewer conference game due to a rainout, they finished with one loss fewer than UNT and won the regular season title. However, we took two of three at home to the 49ers before beating them again in the conference tournament. They still made it to the NCAA Tournament as an at-large. This year, Charlotte has taken 2 of 3 at USF and vs. Wichita State while sweeping the likes of UAB and Tulsa, and are on an 11-game win streak overall. Standings going into the final weekend. The conference tournament is May 8-11 in Wichita. If we make it to the final on Saturday at 11 am, be prepared to drop everything and head up to Kansas to support! SCHOOL CONF CPCT. OVERALL PCT.       Dog shit excuse. It has nothing to do with anything. It's one of the same several excuses used in an attempt to put a curtain up and around the real problems.

      Why the NCAA model is dying and will be replaced

      We are in the best conference now that we have ever been in since the old MVC days. We host conference games this season with Tulane, Tulsa, Army, etc and those are great. Right where we need to be. Much better than the old SLC or even SunBelt. Playing some Power Teams are fun in both football and basketball, actually the highlight of the schedules! I look more forward to our away game with Texas Tech than a home game with SFA, and I think most fans do too.
