  • The Mean Green win puts the all-time series at 17-8-1 UNT’s favor, with the last meeting coming in 2019, when the Mean Green won 51-31 in Denton.
  • UNT’s captains for the season are Stone Earle, Febechi Nwaiwu, Mazin Richards, Logan Wilson and JP Hadley.
  • Making their first starts of the season for UNT were: Landon Sides, Taylor Starling, Carson Knopp and Marcus Moore.
  • UNT’s 530 total yards marked the third time the Mean Green have had over 500 yards of total offense in as many games.
  • UNT’s 24 points in the first quarter matches the most points in a first quarter since 1995. It ties the total from a matchup against Idaho State on Nov. 11, 1995, and last year’s game against FIU on Nov. 5
  • With Ja’Mori Maclin eclipsing the 100-yard receiving mark and Ayo Adeyi putting up more than 100 yards on the ground, it marks the second straight game UNT has had a 100-yard rusher and 100-yard receiver in the same game after going more than a full season without accomplishing the feat - since Nov. 20, 2021, a 49-7 win over FIU.
  • Junior quarterback Chandler Rogers (Mansfield, Texas) made his second start for the Mean Green and finished the night with 321 yards and three touchdown passes on 23-of-36 passing. He also had seven carries for 29 yards and a touchdown.
    • Rogers made his second start at UNT and his 20th career start after transferring from ULM.
    • Rogers’ 321 yards passing gave him his second 300-yard passing effort with the Mean Green and second in as many games.
    • Rogers’ 18-yard touchdown pass to Damon Ward, Jr., with 10:14 left in the third quarter was the 31st of his career and seventh at UNT.
    • Rogers’ 17-yard touchdown pass to Damon Ward, Jr., with 12 seconds left in the first quarter was the 30th of his career and sixth at UNT.
    • Rogers’ 1-yard touchdown run with 8:56 left in the first quarter was his second rushing score of the season and eighth of his career.
    • Rogers’ 80-yard touchdown pass to Ja’Mori Maclin with 12:21 to play in the first quarter was the 29th of his career and fifth at UNT.
    • The 80-yard pass play was the ninth longest in program history and the longest since Andrew McNulty to Carlos Harris against Rice in 2015.
    • Twelve different receivers caught passes for the Mean Green, the most since 12 receivers caught passes in last year’s game against Memphis.
  • Junior RB Ayo Adeyi (Mansfield, Texas) finished with 13 carries for 110 yards.
    • Adeyi’s 110 yards marks the second 100-yard rushing performance for UNT this season, it’s the fourth 100-yard game of his career and his second in as many games. It’s also the first time he’s notched back-to-back 100-yard games.
    • Adeyi’s 42-yard run in the second quarter was his longest of the season.
    • With his 110 yards, Adeyi moved into 20th on the program’s all-time career rushing list with 1,595 yards.
  • Junior running back Oscar Adaway III (North Little Rock, Arkansas) finished with 31 yards on 11 carries.
  • Junior running back Isaiah Johnson (Lubbock, Texas) finished with 39 yards and seven carries and two touchdowns.
    • Johnson’s two touchdowns marked the first time in his career he’s had multiple touchdowns.
    • His 5-yard touchdown with 1:01 left in the third quarter was his second of the season and 11th rushing touchdown of his career (14th overall touchdown).
    • His 11-yard touchdown run with 11:36 to play in the second quarter was his first of the season and 10th rushing touchdown of his career (13th overall touchdown).
  • Junior WR Damon Ward Jr. (Beaumont, Texas) finished with three catches for 41 yards and two touchdowns.
    • Ward’s two touchdowns gave him his first multi-touchdown game of his career.
    • Ward’s 18-yard touchdown reception with 10:14 left in the third quarter was the ninth of his career and fourth this season.
    • Ward’s 17-yard touchdown reception with 12 seconds left in the first quarter was the eighth of his career and third this season.
  • Sophomore WR Ja’Mori Maclin (Kirkwood, Missouri) finished with two catches for 110 yards and a touchdown.
    • His 110 yards marked the second 100-yard game of Maclin’s career and second this season, with the first coming in the season-opener against Cal.
    • His 80-yard touchdown reception with 12:21 left in the first quarter was his seventh career touchdown and fifth in four games season.
    • The 80-yard reception was the longest of the year for a UNT player and the longest of Maclin’s career.
    • Maclin is the first UNT player with touchdown receptions in four straight games since Jaelon Darden’s similar stretch in 2020.
  • Freshman WR Landon Sides (Denton, Texas) finished with a team-high five catches for 61 yards.
    • Sides’ five receptions is the most by a true freshman since Loronzo Thompson had five catches in the 2020 Myrtle Beach Bowl.
  • Junior DB Nick Nakwaasah (Dallas) finished with a team-high six tackles, including three solo stops.
  • Senior LB Kevin Wood (Converse, Texas) finished the day with five tackles, including a solo stop, a sack and a tackle for-loss.
    • Wood’s first quarter sack was his second of the season and fourth of his career.
  • Junior LB Jordan Brown (Huntsville, Texas) finished with five tackles, including two solo stops, and a QB hurry.
  • Junior DL Marcus Moore (The Colony, Texas) finished with four tackles, including three solo stops.
  • Senior DL Mazin Richards (Burleson, Texas) finished with two tackles - both solo stops - a tackle for-loss, a sack and two QB hurries.
    • Richards’ fourth-quarter sack was his second of the season and he now has 9.5 in his UNT tenure and 30.5 in his career.
  • Sophomore DB Bryce Linder (College Station, Texas) finished with five tackles, including four solo stops.
  • Junior DB Logan Wilson (Dallas) finished with three tackles - all solo stops – and a pass breakup.
  • Junior DB Harold West (Arlington, Texas) finished with three tackles - all solo stops – and a pass breakup.
  • Junior DB Loronzo Thompson (Friendswood, Texas) finished with four tackles, including two solo stops, and a pass breakup.
  • Redshirt freshman LB Ethan Wesloski (McKinney, Texas) finished with four tackles – all solo stops.
  • Senior kicker Noah Rauschenberg (Tulsa, Oklahoma) went 6-for-6 on extra points and was 1-for-2 on field goals.
    • His 38-yard field goal with 5:31 left in the first quarter was the seventh made field goal of the season and of his collegiate career.
