Ree Drummond and her husband Ladd Drummond are parents to five kids: Alex, Paige, Bryce, Jamar and Todd

Fans of the Food Network's The Pioneer Woman are probably familiar with star Ree Drummond's five kids — if they're not regularly appearing on the show, the culinary author is writing about them on her website.

 

Unlike his home-schooled siblings, however, Bryce attended Pawhuska High School. He began his football career there, playing as the school's quarterback. According to his school, as a senior he completed between 233 and 308 passes, leading to 59 touchdowns for his team, which had an undefeated season.

By the time he graduated in December 2020 (one semester early!), he had offers from Purdue, Texas State and Tulsa, though he ultimately committed to the University of North Texas. Ree wrote of her son, "Bryce is really happy, and Ladd and I couldn't be more excited for Bryce that he'll be able to continue playing football — and we're so proud of him for all the hard work that got him there. Excuse me while I go cry for four hundred years."

      Kansas to the SEC?

      No school is going to willingly leave the SEC. I think the far more likely scenario is schools like Rutgers, Vanderbilt, and Northwestern will be "kicked down" to the ACC while FSU/Clemson go to the Big 10/SEC at some point in the 2030's.

      Is there a limit to the number of rostered players or just a limit on the number of scholarship players. I'm not sure how the scholarship thing/limit really works in the age of NIL. At scholarship limit? Get a big enough NIL deal to cover the cost of attendance (tuition, R&B, books, fees, etc.) and then some. Maybe not something UNT is in the position to do, but what's keeping Deep Pockets U from having more "scholarship" players on the roster than the limit allows?
