So no Riley jr??

Riley Jr was on campus. But him and meacham were a package contingency plan if Graham and Joel left. Looks like Graham is staying.

I hope he and Mason Fine and Seth Littrell and Rico Bussey, Jr. and Kevin Galbreath have taught the University of North Texas that it's better to get the best player available anywhere instead of trying to "circle DFW" for recruiting.  We at UNT have to see ourselves as Boise State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and go outside of our small state of North Texas and venture into America.

Mama always said, "If you are the little fish in a big pond, go to another pond where they didn't know you are a little fish.  Go into a little pond and take the big fish they don't know are big because they are too busy looking at the big fish in other big ponds.  And, eat your sprouts and broccoli before they get cold!  Circle DFW?  Baby, don't ride that crazy horse.  Be down with O.P.P.  There has only been one undisputed collegiate football national champion out of Baja Oklahoma since 1969 anyway.  All hat and no cattle, it be."

I can live with this bit.

Does he want to? Isn't being a D1 football coach way more time demanding than a high school coach?

Apparently he does.

Turns out he is in fact the best choice.
