Thoughts from my trip to Denton yesterday

when I went in to buy LaTech tix, they just had a bunch of posters sitting on the counter (as usual). I took 5...and I had a feeling I could take more. Plus there are cups too. You know I'm sipping sweet tea out of my 2013 North Texas cup right now.

Emmitt did a great job organizing this last year. I saw posters everywhere

Hey, whatever date ya'll decide, let me know - PM or otherwise. I can open up the Pavilion and stock us with some water and such for hoofing it around the Square.

It pains me though that we are leaning on alumni who already buy tickets and give to get this done though.

It's par for the course with this athletic department. Denton doesn't buy in because no one ever sells.

Lot's of "interesting" comments here...let's just wait and see how many of those expressing these interesting comments show up on the 17th to help "Hang Denton Green" with posters. Anyone taking bets?

Always amazing to me how so many here always want to knock those that actually try to help as if it is some failing on the part of the volunteers who get up from behind their computer screens, give up some personal time and actually make an effort to be positive and spread the Mean Green gospel.

But, as one of the guys who is often one of the those who does show up is likely to say..."only at North Texas"...I guess.

This pairs well with the Alumni Soccer game that day as well as the kick-off cookout.

I work with a couple of guys who went to Texas State and they had no idea who North Texas was. I was definitely shocked.

Saw posters up in a couple of Rayzor Ranch stores last week. Also, some fairly nice polo shirts at the Sam's up there.

Nice shirts but you can't trademark North Texas??? That wouldn't hold up in court would it? Pehaps the fonts or typestyle but not the term/..

Yeah, it's probably a trademark on the wordmark.

Just noticed that's a sort of funky "R" in there, but those are under $20 shirts!
