Nick Schrapps, sr. receiver, Kelly- Schrapps, a North Texas commit, had 11 receptions for 231 yards and three touchdowns in Kelly’s 56-42 win over St. Pius X on Friday.

Schrapps was named FSSW High School Scoreboard's Private School player of the week.

Schrapps had 8 catches for 48 yards in a Beaumont Kelly 34-7 loss to Houston St. Thomas this past Friday night.

For the season, Nick Schrapps has 59 receptions for 806 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Schrapps has a teammate at Kelly, Nick Barber, who has rushed 171 times for 1,436 yards and 18 TD's. Unfortunately he will miss the playoffs due to a knee injury three weeks ago. He has not played since. And......he has no college offers, just some recruiting interest from ULL.

In Beaumont Kelly's 42-0 TAPPS 3-1 playoff victory over Dallas Bishop Dunne, Nick Schrapps was 5-76 yds and 1 TD receiving.

Nick Schrapps final numbers for the season were 75 catches, 1,044 yards and 11 TD's. Beaumont Kelly lost the TAPPS Div I state title game against Fort Worth Nolan.

Here's his highlights from the 2011 season. I think he has a decent chance of being the #4 WR and I think he'll do pretty good there, he has great hands and concentration and can make the catch in traffic with ease. Looking forward to seeing him in green. Man, 9 more months...here comes the wait again. Those 5 months after basketball is over is brutal.
