Bo Williams Transfer

Hey guys, i thought you might find this interesting...

One of the backup runningbacks is looking to transfer from Iowa State to somewhere he can play more. He's more of a power back and we went to more of a spread offense. Below came from his Facebook:

He's a really talented guy, and a good kid. Just didn't fit our offense. He'd be a great guy for Mac to get.

McCarney's job is on the line if this Williams goes to Oregan or Standford, that would be a huge black eye for our program.

So how much eligibility would he have? I guess he would have to sit out a year if he transfers, then would have one year remaining?

As far as I know, he'd have two years to play. He took a medical hardship this past year. Got a concussion in spring ball and was never "cleared". He wasn't going to play so our staff held him out in order to get his year back. I don't know what sort of transfer rules apply in a situation like this.

A 920 SAT? How on earth is he going to get a high enough GRE or GMAT score to get his masters?

Bethune Cookman sounds like his best option. We're fairly deep at RB this year, and looking at this recruiting class, for a couple yrs to come.

If he wants to be the man, Bethune's his best option. No sitting out either.
