I can say with certainty that my parents will not renew their season tickets for next year if Dodge is still the coach. My season ticket package is up in the air now as well. I will call a family meeting to discuss the progress of this program before renewing any season ticket packages. My wife is out of town this week so it may be a while.

I will probably still buy season tickets. This is my team, no matter who is coaching and I enjoy a good kick in the crotch. On the other side, I was considering traveling to some away games, most notably the Army game, but will not be doing that now. No point in spending a bunch of money when you know that you have no chance of winning.

RV is saying on the half time show that "now is the time to produce." Wow, if I had known that we were hiring a coach 3 years ago that wasn't expected to produce results until year 4 I would not have been on board with the hire. UNREAL.

RV "It is time for us to band together and it's time for us to gather together and support this program."

      Sure, there are scenarios where these things are possible. But nobody writing these articles knows anything more about the possibilities than you or I do. Further, even if they did know more, they are not going to write an article laying out the reasons it won't happen, or the reasons some third possibility that doesn't benefit the B12 could happen. They aren't doing unbiased rational analysis. It's like relying solely on MSNBC or Fox for news

      NIL and the Portal are killing gmg

      Checking in for the first time in like 6 weeks. I did indeed stop checking in semi-regularly after the basketball team fell apart. Doesn't help that I don't expect football to be good. But yes, the off-season goings on in the NIL era are too depressing. If you don't think your team is gonna be good this very season, why stick with it, not like anyone can really build anything truly long term at the G5 level anymore. Why follow any specific player, if he is gone once he flashes his potential on the field.

      Or is there another explanation. I’ve never seen this place so dead. I realize it’s the off season, but it seems much slower than usual.

      College football has always been a food chain. The problem now is the instant movement allowed every year for players with no sit-out for transfers. Maybe if the Texas Tech's, and other mid-P4's of FBS, start feeling the pain of having star players stolen then more restrictions will happen.
