Question About Unt Fans At Alabama

How many seats do universities generally allocate to the visiting teams fans for football games? Is it a set limit by the NCAA or is the number decided by the individual school/conference? The reason I ask is because I was told by one of my professors that the entire NT allotment for the Alabama game had already been sold. How many seats did Alabama give us to sell? I hope we had a bunch because I would love to have a good UNT showing to support the team and witness our huge upset. :D

Visiting team ticket allocations probably is in the contract. So, it changes from contract to contract. Obviously, the visiting school, if it is close to the home school would receive more tickets than a game played a long distance from the visitor's campus. I think that it is still the case that the numbers change contract to contract. Another factor is how many tickets the visitors think they can sell. It is counterproductive for a visitor to get a large allocation of tickets and then having to eat them if there is little demand from their fans. Player comp tickets are always included in the contracts.
