Think of it this way, utsa could come in and be the next south Florida. Mtsu or any other belt school could come in and and continue their recent history of being nothing special. If utsa is successful, good for everybody in cusa, if they are awful, we're in the same position as if we had added another belt school. I guess I'm just a hater....

Looking forward to the movie. While in nyc on business in december, I stumbled onto the filming of the scene thats takes place on wall street. Looked pretty awesome.

I just don't see why people want Mtsu, akst, Lala, and fau. We're trying to move to a better confrence. I know we have all made good friends at these universities and have created some good memories but these teams have been at the bottom on college football (for a decade) for a reason. Time to be selfish and leave them in the dust.

I don't want a buch of fcs either. I really don't care who they add as long as its not another school from the belt. The more belt schools that are added to CUSA the more people will percieve it as a garbage conference like they do the belt. We don't like to admit around here but most people think he belt is a joke. So much of sports is about perception. The sec is considered the best confrence and the rankings of their teams reflects this regardless of whether these teams really are the best.

Maybe I'm crazy but id rather add ODU than MTSU. I want to distance ourselves from everything that is the SunBelt. If CUSA reloads with a bunch of belt schools, I feel like CUSA would be perceived the same as the belt has been perceived by most of the sports world. Nobody wants that. Although schools like ODU and utsa have little or no fb history, at least people don't know what expect which creates excitement. Also, with the loss of Memphis, CUSA should really try to grab a strong bball school which will at least add value somewhere if the fb program is weak.

I can't stand students with this attitude. I was a longhorn fan my entire life because I had several family members attend the university. In fact, I constantly used to wear Texas gear when I was in high school. However, the day I decided to go to UNT I threw all my UT shirts and hats in the garbage. It is okay to be fan of another university but your attitude disgusts me. The last thing this University needs it more students who wear UT shirts/hats to class. Thus, if you’re interested I will send you the UT admissions information if that’s really where you want to be........ I don't understand why any UNT student would wear UT gear. Don't they know they look like a Moron?

Emmit I respect you unlike many on this board, but why do you constantly put Riley down? He plays for our university just like the other players on our team. Although he ticks you (everyone) off sometimes, you should not have a personal vendetta for the guy.

BINGO!!! That's the word that I have been hearing for about a week....

In various threads many posters have stated that if Dodge were to be fired a new coach would not be able to recruit as good as Dodge. If Dodge is fired we have no idea who will replace him. Thus, how can any of you state that the new coach could not recruit as good as Dodge? Although Dodge has recruited better then many of our previous coaches, I would not consider his recruiting to be excellent. I know SMU is paying JJ a great deal of money but, look at his recruiting classes at SMU. The past few SMU classes have been much better than Dodges. SMU has sucked the last decade and yet JJ was able to recruit at SMU. Thus, I honestly believe that if we hire any of the HC candidates that have been mentioned, they would be able to recruit the same if not better then Dodge.
