Todd Dodge's Words

I know it was probably more related to football but if you take Dodge's words....are we really starting to show signs of really becoming the team of the metroplex? Obviously we have a ways to go in football behind TCU and one could make a case for SMU(even tho we kicked their arses). In basketball the womens were good last year and according to many people they are young and up and coming....and afcourse for the mens we are going to the big dance by winning 23 games and winning our conference. SMU and TCU I dont think were ever even on the radar in basketball. But with the win we got tonight....what do you think SMU people are saying? Are they worried? Jealous? Pissed? Happy cuz someone from the metroplex is representing? I dont know but I think i'm really starting to feel Dodge's words that we can and need to be the university of the metroplex. I think the DANCE is the start and hopefully we can build around what was so much of a glorious night for us Mean Greeners.
