My point was, I see UAB as being more equivalent with LaTech than SMU, Liberty, or Mizzou.  The first two we'll be underdogs in winnable games (IMO), the latter 3 we'll be big-time underdogs with little chance on paper to win.

Getting UAB (at home) and La Tech early isn't a bad thing. We need to win both!

That being said, we're supposed to beat bad teams like that. No excuses. 2018 was arguably our best year under Littrell. Even then, he was losing big games. Games that would matter in the conference standings, games that would give us a trophy.

I don't trust his in game management/coaching staff enough to have much hope in big games. They've failed more than they've succeeded

Can't argue with history. But Arkansas was picked to win that game. And I can guarantee the Arkansas fans knew they were going to win.

That loss to NT sent that team spiralling out of control the same way Portland State loss did to NT.

Arkansas's two wins were Eastern Ilinois and Tulsa

I agree to an extent but remember Colorado State or someone had just beaten them

like a couplE weeks before us.

      A few HSO's

      I was kind of hoping this HSO thread would help me get over the hump and renew the two season tickets I’ve had since the days of dirt at Fouts Field and the old cement urinals there. Unfortunately I, probably like some others, can’t seem to generate any old fashioned enthusiasm for the new version of “ here today gone tomorrow, pass through jocks . Somehow there just seems to be a missing piece; commitment, loyalty, alma mater. Yesterday’s discarded intangibles. Well, today is deadline day, can I break an old habit?

      Best BBQ in each Texas college football town

      For anyone who hasn't experienced the greatness of Hutchins, you should treat yourself the next time you are in either Frisco or McKinney. Some of the best brisket I've had (and other good stuff too). And... since UNT has expanded into Frisco, I guess we can claim Hutchins as a UNT BBQ place 😎

      There’s no contradiction. The average fan/alumni aren’t paying NIL, it’s the big donors and corporations. And they’re only doing it because that’s the way it is under the current, broken system. My 2nd point is that comparing college coaches with college players is neither a fair nor equal comparison.
