George announced this morning that this basketball season will be his last as radio broadcaster for the Mean Green. It's his decision, just tired and wants to spend more time with his family.

I am a big Jub-Jub homer. He is one of the best play by play guys.

I have been listening to him on KNTU for a long time, and I heard the "do you believe in the mean green" call live on the radio.

The athletic department has been thinking and discussing this. I know a lot of people inquired about applying for the job today and some already had.

There will not be an announcement until after George has been given a chance to say good-bye.

I wouldn't expect anything until after the basketball is over.
