Interesting that he originally signed with Wichita State.

I did a quick check of Incarnate Word's site (  http://www.uiwcardinals.com/index.aspx?path=mbball ) to see what was there. Their OOC schedule last season was better than ours, with names like Purdue, Oklahoma, Cal-Berkeley, St. John's, LIU and Rice. They beat St. John's in NY in a game that Green hit for 24 points in 33 minutes; they also handled Rice, and he got 14 in 36 minutes. The others were losses and Green averaged 7.5 ppg in 23.5 mins against that competition. Overall, their team was 17 - 12.

Green looks like a decent player to me if he can quickly mesh with the team and make whatever adjustments he needs to. Too bad his back is against the wall re: a one-and-done season.

Good stuff.  Simply put he brings rebounds that Ward could not.   Ward was brought in for his shooting and struggled.
