Ohio Bobcats vs. UNT - Free Pick - 9/7/13

The North Texas Mean Green head out on the road to meet the Ohio Bobcats.

I have seen North Texas on the receiving end of quite a few routs through the years, but they certainly delivered one of their own in a 40-6 thrashing of visiting Idaho. When I saw the Vandals take a 6-0 lead I said to myself; here we go, but it was all Mean Green from that point on. UNT amassed nearly 600 yards of offense and held Idaho to 390, while recovering three fumbles. The home team relied on the right arm of Derek Thompson (23-27/349), who enjoyed a career day with scoring strikes of 30 and 85 yards. The rushing attack received a team high 57 yards from Brandin Byrd, who visited the end zone twice.

I think Mark's pick sounds about right ---

4.5 seems like a fair amount for us going on the road...

Goodness I hope we can breakthrough on this game and turn our road woes around. What a huge shot of confidence it would give us...

The super accurate computations at CFP have Ohio at -4.99.

And to add to their eerily close predictions, they only had last Saturday's game day win prediction off by four points.
