"The Mean Green play Texas Tech on Nov. 16, visit Kansas on Nov. 19 and travel to LSU on Dec. 22. I would not be surprised to see North Texas win two of those three."

I definitely like hearing that, but I can't stand the "Mid-Major" thing. It's like calling us a basketball version of 1AA, and the basketball "1AA's" of the world have proven on the court that they can match up with the"1A's" pretty damn well. Almost as insulting as the BCS fiasco we are likely about to witness, but at least in this sport they allow the lowly Mid-Majors a shot at the national championship.
