Tennis Team Finds Success At Ita Regionals

#1 Team upsets National #8

Nice win over the #8 Team in the Nation, after blowing a 7-2 lead held onto win 9-7.

Singles results are spotty at best. Good thing Top 3 players all lost to seeded players in Round 2.

Bad news #4 player lost to player from SFA that can not happen if team wants to compete at Nationally level.

Will be curious if Sujay can bring a player in in January or if all current players are on scholarships now.

North Texas advances into SF's!!

Picked up 8-6 win over A&M team and play SMU for Finals spot.

Could be a special tournament for the young ladies. Believe they have a great shot at beating SMU and facing one of two A&M team in Finals.

The ladies dropped their Semi-Final Match to SMU (#13 in Nation) 8-2, SMU went onto also defeat A&M in finals for the Tournament Win.

Lauren has done an impressive job bringing SMU back to National Prominence, dare I say outshining the Men's Team now.
