An article in the Austin American-Statesman stated that a youngster by the last name of Kirk has committed to North Texas to play baseball. This after being named MVP in the Central Texas All Star Baseball Game. ??

An article in the Austin American-Statesman stated that a youngster by the last name of Kirk has committed to North Texas to play baseball. This after being named MVP in the Central Texas All Star Baseball Game. ??

"Stony Point's Ashley Kirk — a two-time All-Central Texas first-teamer — hit a two-run home run and pitched three scoreless innings with seven strikeouts to earn MVP honors in Wednesday's all-star softball game. Kirk, who will play for North Texas, homered off Smithson Valley's Bailey Watts, who led her team to this year's Class 5A state championship."
