So close but so far away...

Could a median requirement for "all" D1-A schools & conferences be a better barometer for these kind of things?

I believe the next 5 years will show marked improvement because of our overall present staff. Still, the student/athletes have the responsibility of going to class & making the grades--no matter who their coaches are.

With malcontents such as Wilson, Green, Chatman, and Oubre plus a few academic casualties it's understandable that we lost five scholarships. Someone posted that when a player leaves without graduating that it penalizes the university. However, I don't understand the loss of a scholarship in basketball unless it was Flemings brief run through the program.

Bad news..... Those had nothing to do with our problems.... but will with our future problems... this was based on those who were supposed graduate in 2007 or earlier.
