You could either spin this into saying it's gonna be a long season, or say that they actually held that lead throughout the game and that could be their jumping off point for the rest of the season. Take your pick.

I was afraid that last ball was going over the wall. 11-6 is better that 11-9, but I was pissed when it went to 11-1.

Yeah, it would've been 11-0 and everyone would've been happy with wasting our bullpen I guess. Instead, we throw out sacrificial lamb Nippert who's barely pitched the last few years and just got traded to us. Other than the fact that we HAVE pitchers like Nippert on our roster, going up 11-0 and beating LAAAAAAAA doesn't really resemble recent Rangers' baseball, IMO.

Well, I have to say, the Rangers have to feel good about coming away 3-3 after the first six games, especially on the road. Now let's see how they fare against a 4-1 Baltimore Orioles team. Dare I say Go Rangers?

While I realize we need pitching, Hamilton looks like he is going to be an anchor in Center for years. And one thing i have realized while watching the Rangers over the years is that in the Ballpark in Arlington you need a good centerfielder.
