What drew me in was the table they had in the Super Pit when I went to freshman orientation. I had played in high school and had some minor success so I thought I could do ok on this team. You'll also get all the horrible players on this team as well, but those guys keep it fun. Prices were pretty reasonable since everything went through the student recreation center.

Yeah we would play in a tournament or two when I played. We played in a tournament at Rice in '05-'06 and stayed down there for that.

I've got the scoop on this. I was on the team in '04-'05 and '05-'06. At those times we practiced and played at McKinney Park. Not a great field, but we made well with it. We were pretty good against the competition we played against.

Underrated post of the night.

I was at the game last night as well. We have season tix on the home side on the south goal line. Man, what a game. Loud, roudy, and a blast. For those of you who don't know, the Mountain West Conference has three ranked teams right now, BYU, Utah, and TCU. TCU took a big step last night, but Utah still has the upper hand. They are still undefeated and they get TCU in Utah in 2 weeks on a Thursday night. If they can take care of TCU up there, they very well might bust the BCS.

What impresses me about all this is that we're the only Sun Belt team on the list! How did UL-pick 'em, FAU and FIU not make it here?

I know nothing of FIU's season so far, but from what I've seen from UNT thus far, there's nothing I can see to predict a win or this to be even a close game. FIU 49 UNT 10

Just my $.02 and don't mean to hijack this thread, but most (not all but most) other D1 schools are using CSTV to run their websites. Even Louisiana Tech uses CSTV. We seem to be the only ones that are using our own design, or something like it.

My vote is for FFR. He probably won't be off, but if he goes, my vote is for him!
