I just called Voertman's (11:30 a.m. Saturday) to inquire about a Sun Belt Conference Basketball T-shirt and was told by the girls who answered the phone, she didn't know if they were getting shirts and if they were she didn't know when.

WTF?

If this was football they would have been available the next day. Or if this was another school, pick a mid-major, the shirts would be available already.

The Athletic Department has really dropped the ball on marketing this thing. They should be giving out SBC CHAMPIONSHIP Shirts like they are going out of style.

This is a GREAT way to get NORTH TEXAS out in front of the Metroplex and one again the administration has dropped the ball.

I talked to the Voertman's manager yesterday and they said Monday. Maybe the UNT Bookstore already has them.

Will these champion t-shirts be avaliable at tomorrow's Selection Show Party at the Athletic Center for those of us driving up from Dallas/Ft. Worth? Seems like a natural place to make lots of sales!

They have dropped the ball in the past for many years, and what worries me is that this trend has no end in sight.
