FYI- Texas Stadium parking lots open up 3 hrs before game time.  And contrary to UNTFlyers suggestion,  I wouldn't recommed the red lot.    As a long time veteran of many high school playoff games at Tx Stadium,  they usually only open up the BLUE lot.

True, I've never seen any other lot open other than the Blue for HS events, and I'll never under stand why either. They always make everyone funnel into that stupid outside ring and force them into one of two gates. One gate on the east and one of the west. I say we just meet up on the East side. Emmitt and I will set up the big ass NT Battle Flag and everyone just look for that.

During my time in APO, we worked many fundraisers at Texas Stadium doing parking. Here's the insider's trick.....

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES approach Texas Stadium from 114 Eastbound (from Southlake/Grapevine/Las Colinas). OR Loop 12 Southbound (from NW Hwy/LBJ). Best way is to pass completely by the Stadium on 183, exit Grauwyler and curve it around, and approach from the South on 183. Bypass the first gates on the service road, and go up the hill to Gate 1. Shortest and quickest way in for HS-playoff configuration. Also, coming up Loop 12 northbound (from Grand Prairie-like) and exiting Texas Plaza will be a quick way in.

If you have to come from the North, take I-35 E all the way to Mockingbird and double-back on 183 to the Stadium as described above

I went to the Trinity game. It was nearly unbearable. I got to Texas Stadium at 11:00, parked in Red lot and got into the stadium at 1:00pm just before kickoff. We sat in the upper deck. I recommend that everyone get there at LEAST 2 hours before game time.

Allen is bringing the entire city.

Trinity game, they had 4 gates open. 2 on each side of the stadium.

I am not sure if SLC is home or away. Gate 3 is the vistor side of the stadium.

I will see everyone there.

I think this was posted last week before the hire but have some taste regarding this. I am sure SLC is happy for Dodge but not real happy losing a very sucessful coach.

      Unfortunately this comment by the head coach at UNT is going to appear defeatist and will do nothing to motivate students, fans or players. Wish it had been some other school’s head coach. Awful publicity for UNT.

      Morris didn't say anything that most of us haven't already said or felt. Quite frankly, what he said has been true for a lot longer than many of us want to admit. Our lack of commitment to athletics (whether you want to blame it on administration, students, alumni, or realistically all of the above) has set us back and has been an issue for years. It still hasn't changed, and it's going to continue to come back to bite us for years to come. There has to be a clear divide at some point, even though I would argue there's been a fuzzy divide for a long time. It's just a matter of time at this point that it becomes crystal clear. We are not going to be in the top tier of that divide. Our stakeholders (I use this broadly and there are clear exceptions) have made that choice over however many years now. It's just going to finally come to a head.

      If the basis for this is simply "not Power conference", then sure. The scholarship allotments suggest difference is level of play, though. I know NIL has negated a lot of that at the current P5/G5 level, but I would think that once you get past a certain point, outside the bubble of the P4, the impact of NIL could be watered down and you will still see scholarship limits play into the level of competition in front of you.

      Softball Tournament Bracket

      After UAB swept us in the regular season, then proceeded to win more games we needed them to lose, and lose games we needed them to win, it's nice for ECU to put an end to their season. Hopefully we can win our fourth straight against the Pirates tomorrow.

      If her team doesn't win, her market value and name recognition will quickly decline. The team as a whole and coach make the value.
