Sun Belt Preview on ESPN Radio today

Recommended Posts

ESPN Radio will preview the Sun Belt today, within the next hour (by 11:30 I am guessing), with Mel Kiper Jr.

You can listen to the preview online here.

I am interested to hear what Kiper has to say about North Texas after the disappointing season last year.

**They said in 30 minutes, so around 11:15. So, if 103.3 switches to the national feed, it will be on there, otherwise you can listen on the link above.

Cliff's Notes

Kiper:

We had injuries, no ability at QB, couldn't complete a pass. Need improvement at QB to even compete. Mentions JQ as "great", Lineberry "outstanding", JT will "bounce back". Strong LBs. No reason to think they can't be top 3 in the Sun Belt. Breakdown of JT's stats. Offense was pitiful with Quinn and JT, shows how bad the QBs were last year. One QB has to be decent to have a chance.

Amy Lawrence chipped in with this:

Dickey is changing offenses...to four and five wide for Texas??

They seem to have moved on to other teams, they led off with us. Ricky Bustle will be interviewed shortly.

**Lawrence picks NT, Kiper picks ULL to win SBC.

Or, could this be the year we do break out some new things, surprise everyone, and return to Sun Belt dominance?  History says "no", but I'll "buy" this one once again!

I think it will be a battle between stAte, ULL, and UNT for the football championship this year.

Go SBC Football!!!!
