Way to beat LSU

LSU is one of the most overrated teams in the country.

They lost their super tailback to injury in 2-a-days.

Their QB, Edwards, has a lot of raw talent, but is a horrible passer.

Stack the line. Stop the run. Watch out for Addai on 3rd down out of the backfield.

GET ER DONE!!

who the hell is edwards? If you are referring to Jamarcus Russell, you will find that he has a hell of an arm, but struggles throwing anything with touch (ie. fades).

As for RBs, we are pretty deep. It sucks to lose Alley cause he is fun to watch, but were not even sure he was the second or third most gifted back we have.

As for overrated, well, let's just let the season play out.

My bad. I meant Russel.

Broussard is/was 1st round material. Vincent is 3rd or 4th round material.

I think Addai could go as high as the 2nd round. He fits that 3rd down back niche in the NFL perfectly.

Justin Vincent??? That 3rd or 4th round pick was the MVP of the 2003 national championship game. Was also the MVP of the 2003 SEC championship game. Sure he was banged up a bit last year, but this year he's not as you will soon find out.

Now, did I spell everything correctly?

Edwards... Here's "Edwards'" 2005 Insiders bio:

2005 - LSU: JaMarcus Russell

Talented quarterback with tremendous arm strength to go along with all of the tools necessary to become a dominant collegiate quarterback ... Throws the ball with such velocity he has been known to break the fingers of his wide receivers ... Can throw the football the length of the field ... Coming off a tremendous spring, one that saw him really take a leadership role with the LSU offense ... Gained a great deal of confidence with a fourth quarter performance against Iowa in the Capital One Bowl ...  At 6-5 and over 240 pounds, gives LSU one of the biggest quarterbacks around.

I'll take their opinion over yours...

We had a quarterback a few years ago that could throw a football through a brick wall.

Problem was, he kept missing the wall. laugh.gif

Not terribly worried about QB. Last yr was his first yr on the field - this will be his sophmore season. Plus, anyone that watched the cap one bowl saw that he was throwing lasers. You best pray that he has an off day, because with the stable of talent we have at wide receiver you will be in for a long day.

While on the subject of QB's, is your true freshman ready to crap his pants when he starts his first game against 92,000+ rabid cajuns?

The funniest part of his post was referring to tigger fans as Cajuns. blink.gif

Trust me. There ain't nothing Cajun about lsu, baton rouge, or tigger fans.

The only Cajuns in baton rouge next Saturday will be the brain-washed saps from Lafayette that call themselves tigger fans because they don't have the guts or the brains to root for anybody else.

Sounds like one side of the family tree can't get along with the other. Should ya'll see some Cajun counseling?
